Job summary

University of North Carolina School of the Arts is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Strategic Communications office. You will collaborate with teams to ensure timely, on-brand external and internal projects from intake to completion, defining plans, timelines and budgets where needed.

The ideal candidate drives process improvements, prioritizes deliverables, and builds strong relationships with clients, vendors, and staff while maintaining efficiency and quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
  • Experience in project management, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, time-management and organizational skills are essential.
  • Experience in advertising agency or marketing/project management platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operation activities of StratComm to ensure seamless execution and workflow management for cross-functional projects.
  • Drive planning, intake, prioritization, and timely delivery of project assets.
  • Act as the point of contact between clients and Strategic Communications.
  • Draft project charters, timelines, and scopes; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
