Job summary

University of North Texas is seeking a Strategic Communications Coordinator in Denton to support the Division of University Advancement. The role coordinates timelines, tracks deliverables and facilitates communication among stakeholders to ensure priorities move efficiently from planning through completion.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this role supports operational execution of advancement communications, enabling strategists to focus on strategy, development and relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with project management software and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintains project timelines, dashboards, trackers and supporting documentation for executive initiatives.
• Creates and maintains Wrike projects, tasks and timelines supporting executive priorities.
• Coordinates meetings by preparing agendas, organizing materials, documenting meeting notes and tracking follow-up action items.
• Organizes and maintains departmental documentation and project files.
• Assists with preparation and formatting of presentations, reports and other executive materials.
• Tracks progress on assigned initiatives and provides project status updates.
