Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Communications Manager in New York City to support our Marketing & Communications team. The role is hybrid, in-office three days a week with remote work the rest.

You will help produce announcements, product launch content and internal/external communications with a focus on clear, compelling messaging. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism, PR or marketing, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong AP style writing and editing skills.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated writing and editing ability, especially in AP style.
• Ability to distill complex products into clear points.
• Established relationships with journalists in business, tech, advertising.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic communications plans, messaging and content for corporate announcements and product launches across global regions.
• Manage earned and paid media opportunities to increase visibility and differentiation.
• Coordinate with global Marketing & Communications team for go-to-market PR and marketing efforts.
• Manage company awards programs and submissions for thought leadership and speaking opportunities.
• Maintain public relations files, contacts and intranet content.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support partnerships, sponsors and organizing committees.
