Job summary

Nexxen seeks a Communications Manager to join our Marketing & Communications team in New York City. The role offers a hybrid schedule, three days in-office and the rest remote, to support internal and external communications and manage content across PR, events, social media and marketing.

The ideal candidate has strong writing ability, AP style expertise and established journalist relationships, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in PR or marketing. This position reports to Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations or marketing.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience; PR agency experience welcomed.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to distill complex topics.
• Demonstrated writing/editing experience in AP Style.
• Established relationships with journalists in business, tech and advertising.
• Knowledge of trends in marketing, PR, media relations, advertising and social media.
• Organizational skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel, potentially international; fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic communications plans, messaging and content for corporate announcements and product launches in Nexxen global regions.
• Seek out and manage earned and paid media opportunities to increase Nexxen’s visibility.
• Coordinate with global Marketing & Communications team for go-to-market PR and marketing efforts.
• Manage company awards programs and submissions for thought leadership and speaking opportunities.
• Manage public relations files, contacts and intranet content.
• Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage and assist with managing relationships with partners, sponsors and organising committees.
• Collaborate with management to set communication goals and evaluation methods.
