Job summary

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, advising campus leaders and coordinating cross-functional projects to deliver timely, accessible messaging aligned with institutional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in strategic communications, including leading multifaceted projects and directing staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated strategic communications plans supporting university priorities and enrollment.
• Provide leadership to the Social Media and Strategic Communications Manager and align work with institutional goals.
• Guide content, social media, and communications strategies to strengthen reputation and audience engagement.
• Advise campus leaders on messaging, storytelling, and audience engagement.
• Lead development of enterprise social media strategy and cross-channel content planning.
