Job summary

Strada Education Foundation is seeking a Communications Intern to support the Strategic Communications team in advancing core messages through earned and digital/social media. You will engage in planning, project management, and editorial support for producing the State Opportunity Index.

As part of a cohort, you will join team strategy meetings and help maintain editorial calendars while gaining exposure to nonprofit communications and education-workforce initiatives.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a postsecondary education or accepted into a program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to learn quickly and contribute in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Zoom and Slack is a plus.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently while accepting feedback.
• Passionate about promoting equitable opportunities in education and employment.
• Available May 18, 2027 to August 13, 2027; based in Central Indiana or the Washington, D.C., area.

Responsibilities

• Support the Strategic Communications team to advance Strada’s core messages across earned and digital/social media.
