Job summary

Strada Education Foundation, Inc. is hosting a summer internship in the Communications Department.

The Communications Intern will assist in planning, project management, and editorial support to advance Strada’s core messages across earned and digital media. The role focuses on coordinating the State Opportunity Index production, participating in strategy meetings, and helping maintain editorial and external engagement calendars.

Qualifications

• Must be at least one year out of high school and currently enrolled in or accepted into a postsecondary program.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and contribute in a collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Zoom and Slack is a plus.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently while being open to feedback.
• Passionate about promoting equitable opportunities in education and employment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Strategic Communications team’s efforts to advance Strada’s core messages through earned and digital/social media.
• Engage in planning, project management, and editorial support related to the State Opportunity Index publication.
• Participate in team strategy meetings and assist with maintaining editorial and external engagement calendars.
