Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Director of Communications for the Peaks Region based in the Denver-Broomfield area. You will lead internal and external communications, oversee crisis strategy, media relations, branding, and community relationships across a broad geography, partnering with senior leaders to protect and advance the organization's reputation.

You will manage a team of communications professionals, develop integrated plans aligned with strategic goals, and serve as a key advisor

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in communications, media relations, journalism, or public relations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Experience advising senior executives on strategic communications.
• Master’s degree in Communications or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of communications professionals.
• Develop and direct integrated communications plans aligned with goals.
• Direct crisis communications planning for hospitals and clinics.
• Provide strategic support to senior leaders across the organization.
• Build relationships with local, regional, and national leaders and media.
• Write and approve newsletters, speeches, and presentations.
