Job summary

The Landings Association, located in Savannah, Georgia, seeks an experienced Communications Director to lead a comprehensive communications program for one of Savannah’s most active residential communities. You will guide publications, digital channels, resident engagement, media relations, reputation management, and crisis communications.

The role requires translating complex initiatives for residents, producing The Landings Journal, overseeing visual content, and advancing communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Strategic Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• At least seven years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience leading major communication initiatives across multiple channels.
• Experience developing communication strategies and leading organization-wide programs.
• Experience managing publications, newsletters, websites, digital communications, campaigns, and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead comprehensive communication strategies that support The Landings Association’s mission and priorities.
• Translate complex initiatives into clear communications for residents and stakeholders.
• Protect and strengthen The Landings Association’s brand and public image.
• Produce and oversee The Landings Journal and other publications.
• Lead weekly e-newsletters, social media content, and digital communications.
• Oversee website, resident portal, calendars, and analytics to improve engagement.
• Evaluate AI tools and technologies to improve content and workflow efficiency.
• Present strategies and metrics to leadership and the Board of Directors.
