Job summary

Freshfields US LLP seeks a Communications Coordinator to support planning, content development, coordination, reporting, and operations within the Brand & Communications function for the US market.

You will help execute internal and external initiatives, strengthen employee engagement, support media relations, thought leadership, social media, and award submissions, and collaborate with HR and leadership to advance business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or English.
• 1–3 years of PR/communications experience; agency experience a plus.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (AP Style a plus).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute and measure US communications and brand initiatives.
• Assist with media relations: drafting press materials, maintaining media lists, briefing materials.
• Support thought leadership, external positioning, and content development across channels.
• Coordinate awards submissions and maintain submission calendars with supporting content.
