Job summary

Freshfields US LLP seeks a Communications Coordinator to join the global Brand & Communications function, working with the US marketing and business development teams to strengthen the firm’s brand and market positioning in the United States.

You will support planning, content development, media relations, thought leadership, social media, internal communications and campaign coordination, while measuring impact and reporting on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or English preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant PR/communications experience; agency experience a plus.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication; AP style a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and measurement of US communications initiatives.
• Assist with media relations, including drafting press materials and briefs.
• Support thought leadership, external positioning and campaign coordination.
• Coordinate award submissions and content development for recognitions.
• Assist social media activities and performance tracking.
• Draft internal communications and leadership messages.
