Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking a Commodity Manager to audit, source, review costs, and visit suppliers. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to improve quality, delivery, and value while managing supplier performance and contracts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Travel up to 25–30% and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proficient with MS Office and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specs.
• Proven track record of autonomous commodity strategy development.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-functional teams to gather requirements and select sources.
• Create, maintain and execute procurement commodity strategies.
• Lead supplier selection and improvement plans based on performance data.
• Develop, distribute and analyze RFPs/RFQs and proposals.
• Lead negotiations and assist with contract management.
• Mitigate supply chain risk and support stakeholders during disruptions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within procurement and supply chain.
• Collaborate on TMHNA initiatives for global synergy.
