Job summary

Horton, Inc. is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead multi-year global commodity strategies from Roseville, MN or Westminster, SC.

This onsite role partners with manufacturing, operations and leadership to optimize value, reduce TCO, and ensure supply continuity. You will oversee sourcing lifecycle, manage supplier relationships, drive cost savings through negotiations and VA/VE, and guide risk management while aligning with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year global/regional commodity strategies.
• Expand and optimise the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Evaluate commodity maturity, cost drivers and market dynamics.
• Drive TCO reduction through strategic partnerships and design changes.
• Lead supplier relationship management frameworks and QBRs.
• Monitor market trends and forecast cost fluctuations.
