Job summary

Wolfspeed seeks a Commodity Manager for Professional Services within the Business Support Services team in Procurement. The role shapes PS, BPO, and staff augmentation engagements from RFX to contract renewals, driving value through strategic supplier choices and stakeholder collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement and contract management for PS, with strong negotiation, organizational, and influence skills to navigate complex engagements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in an analytical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Procurement, Sourcing, or Contract Management focused on Professional Services.
• Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Desire to help others succeed and drive team success.
• Ability to work with multiple competing priorities.
• Commitment to fair and ethical business practices and trust-building.
• Strong organizational skills and self-management of complex workloads.

Responsibilities

• Create sourcing strategies addressing pain points and optimize the Wolfspeed supply base.
• Identify strategic suppliers and cultivate relationships as a preferred customer.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and use supplier scorecards and RCCA when appropriate.
• Identify cost avoidance and cost reduction opportunities and report progress.
• Own and manage RFX processes from start to finish within assigned commodities.
• Negotiate revisions to commercial terms and coordinate with Legal and stakeholders.
