Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a Commodity Manager for the Professional Services category within the Business Support Services team to lead indirect procurement initiatives. The role focuses on PS, Consulting, BPO, and Staff Augmentation, driving engagement, defining supplier deliverables, and ensuring alignment with business needs.

The successful candidate will manage RFX processes, negotiate terms, coordinate with Legal and stakeholders, and support savings targets while upholding procurement standards

Qualifications

• BS or BA in analytical field or equivalent experience demonstrating analytical and negotiation skills.
• Five or more years in Procurement, Sourcing, or Contract Management focused on Professional Services or equivalent supplier-side experience in BPO/MSP/staffing.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Desire to help others succeed and drive accountability across stakeholders.
• Commitment to fair and ethical business practice.

Responsibilities

• Create sourcing strategies for Professional Services and optimize the supplier base.
• Identify strategic suppliers and build relationships to position Wolfspeed as a preferred customer.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and use supplier scorecards and RCCA methods.
• Identify cost avoidance and cost reduction opportunities and report progress.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and manage PS contracts end-to-end, including MSAs and SOWs.
