PrideNow is seeking an experienced Strategic Commodity Manager to lead supplier strategy and sourcing initiatives in a global supply chain within the semiconductor equipment sector.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of supply chain, sourcing, or commodity management experience.
  • Experience with global suppliers and complex negotiations.
  • Strong background in semiconductor equipment or advanced manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience with SAP/ERP systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long-term commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage global supplier relationships and drive supplier performance improvements.
  • Lead sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and delivery expectations.

Job description

Location: Livermore, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Duration: 1 Year Contract

Pay Rate: $91/hour

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Commodity Manager to support a global supply chain organization within the semiconductor equipment industry. This role will lead supplier strategy, sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and supply chain improvements to support business growth and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop and execute long-term commodity strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Manage global supplier relationships and drive supplier performance improvements
  • Lead sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and contract discussions
