Job summary

Pride Global is seeking a Supply Chain Business Manager to support supplier performance, material availability, and operational excellence across a global supply chain. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in supply chain, supplier management, commodity management, procurement, or related operations.
  • Experience managing suppliers and multiple commodities in global supply chains.
  • Strong supplier performance management and relationship experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables, lookups, dashboards, and macros.
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with scalable solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, domestic with possible international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement to support availability and purchasing needs.
  • Manage relationships and performance across multiple suppliers and commodity categories.
  • Define and monitor supplier performance metrics related to delivery, quality, cost, and operations.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop strategies to improve performance and continuity.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to align material delivery with forecasted demand and production needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement across procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
  • Apply JIT, Kanban, and Min/Max inventory planning where appropriate.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve supply and delivery challenges.
  • Support cost management and cost reduction while monitoring PPV and supplier costs.
  • Help suppliers improve manufacturing processes, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop presentations, process flow charts, reports for business reviews and improvements.
  • Analyze complex supply chain data and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Job description

Location: Tualatin, OR | Fremont, CA | Livermore, CA

Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension

Pay Rate: Up to $65.25/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Business Manager to support supplier performance, material availability, and operational excellence across a global supply chain. This role will manage supplier relationships across multiple commodities and work closely with internal teams to address supply challenges, improve delivery performance, manage inventory, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supplier management, supply chain operations, ERP systems, advanced Excel, and complex problem-solving within a manufacturing or global supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement throughout the production cycle to support material availability and purchasing requirements.
  • Manage relationships and performance across multiple suppliers and commodity categories.
  • Define and monitor supplier performance metrics related to delivery, quality, cost, and operational performance.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop strategies to improve supplier performance and continuity of supply.
  • Partner with suppliers to ensure material delivery aligns with forecasted demand and production requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
  • Apply inventory management strategies such as JIT, Kanban, and Min/Max planning where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to resolve complex supply and delivery challenges.
  • Support cost management and cost reduction initiatives while monitoring purchase price variance and supplier costs.
  • Work with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop presentations, process flow charts, reports, and other documentation to support business reviews and improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze complex supply chain data and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, supplier management, commodity management, procurement, or related operations.
  • Experience managing suppliers and supporting multiple commodities within a complex or global supply chain.
  • Strong supplier performance management and relationship management experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, data lookups/indexing, dashboards, and macros.
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop scalable and repeatable solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, primarily for domestic meetings, with occasional international travel possible.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in manufacturing, technology, electronics, industrial products, capital equipment, or other complex global supply chain environments are highly relevant.
