Job summary

KB Signaling in Grain Valley, MO seeks a Commodity Leader to develop and execute global commodity strategies, optimize total cost of ownership, and ensure supply continuity. You will own the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, partner with engineering, operations, and finance, and lead governance routines including QBRs and executive reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong negotiation, and a track record of cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commodity management.
• Experience negotiating complex contracts and delivering cost savings.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global commodity strategies aligned with goals.
• Lead RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract execution.
• Apply TCO models and should-cost analysis to sourcing decisions.
• Drive supplier governance, risk mitigation, and continuity plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance on sourcing outcomes.
