Radiant in El Segundo, CA is seeking a proactive Buyer to manage sourcing, negotiation, and procurement for world-class micro-reactor systems. You will collaborate with SDEs, Engineering, QA, and Operations to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.

The role emphasizes strategic supplier selection, contract management, and lifecycle procurement, with a focus on regulated industry standards and on-site execution.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–8 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience.
• Proven track record in negotiation and contract management.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes (RFQ/RFP, PO management, supplier evaluation).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and standard office software.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to supplier locations.

Aufgaben

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers with SDE and Eng teams.
• Negotiation: Lead pricing, terms, and delivery negotiations for value.
• Contract Management: Draft and manage MSAs, NDAs, and PO terms.
• Purchase Order Management: Oversee requisitions, PO placement, and delivery tracking.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain key supplier relationships.
• Cost Analysis & Optimization: Analyze market trends and TCO to save costs.
• Risk Management: Assess supplier risk including financial health and capacity.
• Performance Monitoring: Track delivery and cost-saving metrics.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Align with Engineering, QA, and Project Mgmt.
• Process Improvement: Improve procurement policies and systems.
