Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a highly skilled leader to drive Commercial Operations and Sales Operations, owning forecasting, pricing, and customer-facing processes. You will coordinate with contract, legal, and operations teams to ensure compliant, timely proposals and successful deal execution.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, CRM discipline, and cross-functional enablement across the organization, with travel as required to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial operations, sales operations, pricing, proposals, contracts, or related B2B experience.
• Ability to structure complex proposals, assess commercial risk, and translate terms into executable requirements.
• Strong leadership to establish operating discipline and cross-functional influence.
• Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) and analytics tools; strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, and Customer Care operating rhythm.
• Own metrics and improvement roadmap for orders, margins, and delivery performance.
• Lead pricing benchmarking, market analysis, and development of pricing models.
• Forecast orders and provide input for planning sessions and risk reviews.
• Coordinate bid/proposal execution with cross-functional teams and governance.
