Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University seeks an experienced attorney to provide day-to-day legal counsel and operational support within a defined business or legal domain. You will work with business partners to ensure legal guidance aligns with objectives and risk tolerance.

The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements, supporting litigation and non-litigation matters, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from ABA accredited law school.
• 5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills.
• Experience providing practical, solution oriented legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day legal advice and guidance to business partners.
• Support department leadership on complex or escalated matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and legal documents.
• Partner with business stakeholders to support execution of TJU initiatives.
• Identify legal risks and elevate issues appropriately.
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining quality and responsiveness.
