You will work closely with senior attorneys and clients, contributing to strategy and case development from pleadings through resolution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm.
• Experience in construction, employment, or complex commercial disputes.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills; ability to manage multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent businesses in a wide range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, and partnership/shareholder litigation.
• Handle construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, delay claims, defect claims, and payment disputes.
• Defend and prosecute employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour claims, and contract disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct depositions, assist with witness preparation, and support trial and arbitration proceedings.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with clients to develop case strategy and assess litigation risk.
• Work across industries including construction, real estate, technology, finance, and professional services
