Job summary

Simmons Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager II to provide analytical, underwriting, and portfolio management support for commercial and business banking. You will analyze creditworthiness, prepare write-ups, monitor portfolios, and support clients through the lending process, handling moderate-complexity credits with supervision.

The role requires collaboration with commercial bankers, preparation of cash flow models, and ongoing portfolio review to ensure asset quality and customer service

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• 2-5 years of applicable experience including credit analyst, commercial lender, or portfolio manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic to moderately complex credit analyses for credit approvals.
• Underwrite new lending opportunities with the commercial banker.
• Prepare credit memos and facilitate underwriting of transactions.
• Prepare cash flow models for credit decisions.
• Monitor portfolios to ensure asset quality and service standards.
• Submit credit documents to decision-makers and monitor past-due reports.
