Job summary

Simmons First National Corporation in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Portfolio Manager II to provide analytical, underwriting, and portfolio management support for commercial lending. You will partner with commercial bankers to analyze creditworthiness, prepare write-ups, and monitor client portfolios through the lending process.

You will work on basic to moderate-complex credits, with supervision on complex deals, applying financial statement spreading and cash flow modeling to guide credit

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required.
• 2–5 years of credit analysis, commercial lending, or portfolio management experience.
• Demonstrated analytical, financial statement spreading, and credit judgment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit analyses for new, renewal, and extension loans.
• Underwrite new lending opportunities with the commercial banker.
• Prepare memoranda and facilitate underwriting of transactions.
• Analyze cash flow for credit decisions.
• Monitor portfolios to ensure asset quality and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with credit policy and regulatory requirements.
