Job summary

Spectra Logic is seeking a practical, business-minded Commercial Counsel to accelerate commercial growth, lead product contracting, scale supply-chain operations, and improve go-to-market execution while managing legal risk. This hands-on role partners with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and leadership to structure and negotiate agreements in a fast-paced environment.

The position reports to the Corporate Attorney & Corporate Secretary and is hybrid, requiring

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• In-house or law-firm experience with commercial agreements and go-to-market transactions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and close a broad range of commercial agreements including MSAs, MPAs, SOWs, NDAs, licenses, and channel agreements.
• Advise on deal structure, nonstandard terms, and paths to closure for enterprise and international transactions.
• Manage supplier, procurement, and supply-chain contracts; handle manufacturing, logistics, and related services agreements.
