Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial portfolio management experience.
• Experience in commercial lending preferred.
• Strong credit analysis/underwriting knowledge.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages commercial customer relationships by identifying financial needs and delivering solutions.
• Develops new and existing deposit and credit relationships through networking and referrals.
• Collaborates with Branch Managers, Treasury Services, and Market Executives to build full-service relationships.
• Meets or exceeds goals in loans, deposits, fee income, and referrals.
• Manages processes from initial contact through close, including credit analysis and documentation.
• Drives community presence through networking events and partnerships.
• Maintains knowledge of BayFirst’s products to tailor solutions.
• Monitors loan quality, deposit growth, and profitability to minimize risk.
• Serves as the commercial banking expert for the regional market.
