Job summary

CFS is seeking a Collections Specialist to own a portfolio of high-risk commercial accounts and apply analytical strategies to improve recoveries beyond basic collections. You will manage delinquent accounts (200+ days past due), perform skip tracing, and make 30–50 outbound calls daily to negotiate payments, escalating to legal or repossession when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve a portfolio of delinquent commercial accounts
• Make 30–50 outbound calls daily to secure payments and negotiate terms
• Escalate accounts to legal or repossession when necessary
• Perform research and skip tracing to locate customers
• Document all account activity and prioritize based on risk and exposure
