Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Special Assets Manager to oversee delinquent and special accounts, coordinating with agencies, vendors, and counsel to recover funds efficiently and compliantly. You will evaluate escalated accounts and guide next steps, including settlements and legal referrals.

Ideal candidates have strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills, with experience in bankruptcy matters or secured credit. Bachelor's degree is required and exposure to Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with debt collection, outside counsel, or bankruptcy matters preferred.
• Experience in commercial or secured credit environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delinquent and special accounts collection processes.
• Coordinate with third-party agencies, repossession vendors, and outside counsel.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliant collection actions.
• Negotiate repayment terms and payment plans with customers.
• Prepare leadership reports on delinquency status and recoveries.
