Job summary

Dartmouth College seeks a Collections Strategist and Acquisitions Manager to lead and optimize its library acquisitions and collections programs. You will guide licensing and lifecycle workflows for electronic and print resources, oversaw by a skilled team in a high-impact academic setting.

Master’s degree in Library or Information Science or equivalent.
Five+ years acquisitions and/or electronic resources experience.
Three years of supervisory experience leading staff.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead lifecycle management of electronic and print resources across formats.
Supervise and mentor staff; manage ordering, licensing, and trouble shooting.
Serve as expert in Alma Acquisitions and Dartmouth financial systems.
Apply strategic workflow analysis to improve collections building.
Collaborate on licensing workflows with Electronic Resources Librarian and others.
