Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library or Information Science, or equivalent advanced degree.
• Five plus years of progressively responsible acquisitions and/or electronic resources experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience with the ability to lead staff, develop, and manage efficient workflows.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills through a variety of methods.
• Proven ability to adapt to a changing information landscape and manage priorities.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development/achievement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in workflows for lifecycle management of electronic and print resources, including licensing and access.
• Supervise, recruit, and mentor staff; ensure sustainable and cost-efficient operations.
• Serve as an expert in Alma Acquisitions and Dartmouth's financial systems; document procedures.
• Apply strategic analysis to workflows to meet research and teaching missions.
• Manage licensing workflows with the Electronic Resources Librarian; maintain active orders.
• Collaborate with selectors on acquisition models; adjust policies for new models; guide staff.
