Job summary

Dream Finders Homes is seeking a Land Acquisitions Manager to lead identifying and securing land opportunities that support division goals. You will analyze ROI, manage due diligence, and coordinate with brokers, engineers, and legal teams to ensure timely entitlements and successful closes.

The role requires strong negotiation, financial analysis, and project-management skills, with regular travel to visit divisions and projects in Coastal North Carolina.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree as listed or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years land acquisition experience.
• Minimum 2 years land acquisition experience in Coastal North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Identify specific acquisition opportunities to meet division goals.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all land acquisition activities.
• Identify and qualify land acquisitions aligned with division goals.
• Negotiate property acquisitions with landowners, attorneys or brokers.
• Manage land/lot purchase contract process with leadership and GC.
• Oversee due diligence and master planning in coordination with internal teams.
• Coordinate resources to meet entitlement needs for acquisitions.
• Monitor development phases and entitlement processes post-closing.
• Prepare land valuation analyses and budgets for corporate approval.
• Develop business relationships and scout avenues for acquisitions.
