Job summary

Connection is seeking a Principal Cloud Solution Architect to join its Cloud Center of Excellence. You will guide enterprise clients through modern cloud transformations across Azure, AWS, and GCP, partnering with executives, sales leaders, and technical teams.

In this highly visible role you will architect innovative cloud solutions, mentor other architects, drive pre-sales engagements, and stay ahead of cloud trends to shape our practice.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud architecture, enterprise infrastructure, or related technical consulting roles.
• Current cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Proven success leading complex cloud transformation and migration projects.
• Extensive experience in customer-facing, consultative technology roles.
• Ability to engage and influence senior IT executives and business leaders.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, automation, and governance.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise clients to understand business objectives and technology strategies.
• Design and architect cloud solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, GCP, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native tech.
• Lead strategic discovery sessions and solution workshops with executives and technical stakeholders.
• Develop cloud modernization roadmaps aligning tech investments with business outcomes.
• Guide large-scale cloud migrations, application modernization, DevOps adoption, and infra transformation.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and optimized for long-term success.
• Mentor architects and contribute to the Cloud Center of Excellence growth.
• Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.
