Job summary
Merck & Co. is seeking a Senior Director, Clinical Science in Gynecologic Oncology to provide strategic Clinical Science leadership across studies and assets.
You will shape disease area strategy, standardize scientific practices, and guide development planning with a deep understanding of Gynecologic cancers. The role partners with Section Heads, Asset Leads, and cross-functional teams to support study planning, data interpretation, and governance discussions, while developing and coaching
Qualifications
- Significant experience in Clinical Development and Clinical Science leadership.
- Experience contributing to disease area strategy and governance.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic Clinical Science leadership across Gynecologic Oncology programs.
- Guide interpretation of clinical data to support development planning and strategy.
- Lead standardization of Clinical Science practices and data review across assets.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Biostatistics, Data Management, Drug Safety, Translational Medicine, and Medical Affairs.
- Mentor and develop Clinical Scientists and other staff.
