Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation (MHIF) is seeking a Clinical Research Manager II to lead strategic portfolio operations in cardiovascular research and education. You will build high-performing teams, influence portfolio strategy, and strengthen partnerships to advance MHIF’s mission.

The role requires strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of managing complex research programs while ensuring regulatory compliance and organizational impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in clinical research people management or related leadership roles.
• Proven success in project management, strategic planning, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large, complex clinical research and education portfolios across multiple domains.
• Lead strategic planning, resource utilization, and resource allocation for complex portfolios.
• Monitor operational performance and implement solutions to strengthen efficiency, engagement, and outcomes.
• Support the financial health of portfolios through sound business judgment and oversight.
• Maintain awareness of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
