Job summary

Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Clinical Research Manager II to provide strategic leadership over large clinical research and education portfolios. You will partner with Principal Investigators, research teams, and executives to shape portfolio strategy, optimize resources, and advance organizational priorities.

The CRM II will mentor staff, lead cross-functional projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive collaboration across programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or related field; master’s preferred.
5+ years progressive clinical research leadership experience.
Experience managing complex clinical research and education portfolios.
Proven ability in project management, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.
Experience securing external funding and building partnerships.

Responsibilities

Oversee large, complex clinical research and education portfolios across domains.
Partner with Principal Investigators and leaders to influence strategy and planning.
Ensure programs align with MHIF goals, quality, and compliance.
Lead resource planning, budgeting, and portfolio optimization.
Mentor research staff and lead cross-functional teams as needed.
Drive enterprise-wide initiatives and external partnerships.
