Job summary

Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation (MHIF) seeks a Research Associate to advance studies at the Center for Coronary Artery Disease in Minneapolis. You will start up studies, abstract data, populate databases, assist with patient consent, and support dissemination while ensuring Human Subjects protections.

The role requires collaboration with MHIF staff and physicians, regulatory experience, and comfort in clinical settings; strong data management and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Prior clinical research data management experience preferred.
• Self-direct, take initiative, and use good judgement.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collect study data and obtain patient consent for registries and studies.
• Ensure Human Subjects protections and regulatory reporting.
• Abstract data from medical records and enter into study systems.
• Support regulatory activities including IRB submissions and amendments.
• Design and populate REDCap databases and maintain documentation.
• Disseminate research outcomes via publications and presentations.
• Train and assist junior team members; support MHIF staff collaborations.
