Medtronic is seeking a Senior Principal Clinical Analytics and Data Platform Lead to provide strategic, business-facing leadership across the clinical data and analytics ecosystem. The role supports clinical trial execution, operational oversight, and portfolio decision-making, with a focus on governance and actionable insights.

The position emphasizes CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, USDM), AWS-based analytics, and modern data platforms, and is remote to enhance collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of experience in clinical research data and analytics (or 8+ years with an advanced degree).
• Deep knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, USDM).
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS, in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition, evolution, and adoption of clinical data and analytics platforms.
• Define and curate clinical data into scalable data products, semantic layers, and reporting structures.
• Ensure data quality, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance across solutions.
• Oversee development of clinical dashboards and analytics capabilities for trials and operations.
• Translate business needs into scalable data and analytics capabilities for clinical stakeholders.
• Support pilots, validation activities, rollouts, and adoption of new platform capabilities.
