Job summary

The Plexus Groupe is seeking a Client Manager for our Employee Benefits Practice at our Deer Park headquarters, with consideration for our Chicago office. This role manages a dedicated client portfolio, mentors teammates, and helps drive revenue and profitability.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in client management and 5+ years in Employee Benefits Brokerage, with a Life and Health Producer license. Travel about 15% and strong MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of client management experience, with 5+ years in Employee Benefits Brokerage.
• Proven history of managing client relationships.
• Knowledge of benefit laws and compliance standards.
• Travel up to 15% of the time.
• Life and Health Producer license required; designation a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to analyze financial data and present interpretations.

Responsibilities

• Support the team’s business objectives and client management principles to meet revenue and profit targets.
• Personally manage a dedicated book of business and mentor teammates.
• Oversee workflow management and training to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain client persistency and foster strong client partnerships.
• Manage vendor relationships with carriers and third-party partners.
• Stay informed on industry changes and apply insights to client strategies.
• Support client meetings and presentations to deliver value.
