Job summary

Insurance Recruiting Solutions seeks an experienced Employee Benefits Client Manager II in San Diego to independently manage a portfolio of employee benefits clients while partnering with Risk Advisors and internal teams.

You will lead open enrollment, renewals, and carrier negotiations, and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional client service. The role requires 5+ years in employee benefits and strong MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Employee Benefits experience.
• Experience with new business, renewals, and carrier negotiations.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organization, communication, and project management abilities.
• Proactive, accountable, detail-oriented, and committed to client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day service for an assigned Employee Benefits book.
• Lead new business and renewal processes, including marketing and proposals.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal partners.
• Prepare proposals, spreadsheets, presentations, and renewal materials.
• Conduct and support open enrollment meetings.
• Manage enrollment changes, new hires, terminations, and COBRA questions.
• Maintain accurate client and policy information in EPIC and agency systems.
• Proactively communicate with clients and serve as a trusted resource.
• Partner with Risk Advisors to address complex issues.

We’re partnering with a well-established insurance organization seeking an Employee Benefits Client Manager II to independently manage a portfolio of clients while working closely with experienced Risk Advisors and a collaborative internal team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day service for an assigned book of Employee Benefits clients.
• Lead new business and renewal processes, including marketing, carrier submissions, proposals, and negotiations.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal partners.
• Prepare proposals, spreadsheets, presentations, and renewal materials.
• Conduct and support open enrollment meetings.
• Manage enrollment changes, new hires, terminations, claims inquiries, billing issues, and COBRA questions.
• Maintain accurate client and policy information within EPIC and agency management systems.
• Proactively communicate with clients and serve as a trusted resource for their ongoing needs.
• Partner with Risk Advisors to address complex issues and provide solutions.
