Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Client Financial Business Partner in Orlando to oversee client accounting services across a designated portfolio. You will drive financial reviews, budgeting support, and collaboration with property operations to strengthen client relationships and drive efficiency.

The role requires a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with extensive experience in GAAP, ERP systems, and multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics; master’s preferred and/or CPA.
• 10+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience in a senior role.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement presentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial statement presentations and client retention with accountability.
• Collaborate with property leaders and clients on reporting and analytics.
• Review variances, drivers, risks, and opportunities with operations and clients.
• Provide training and oversight of annual property budgets.
• Interface with external auditors for client audits.
• Support onboarding of new communities’ accounting workflows and board financials.
