Job summary

American Consumer Credit Counseling seeks a Chief Information Officer to align technology with ACCC’s mission, protect client data, and drive measurable business value. The CIO will translate priorities into a disciplined technology roadmap while stabilizing operations and modernizing legacy platforms.

The leader will champion governance, security, and reliability across infrastructure, applications, data, and third-party services, reporting to the CEO and Board as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering/Business or related field
• At least twelve years of progressively responsible technology experience
• At least ten years leading managers and multidisciplinary technology teams
• Experience with cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, data, and vendor management
• Proven ability to communicate technical risk and options clearly to executives

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multiyear enterprise technology strategy and roadmap aligned with ACCC’s mission and goals
• Lead enterprise cybersecurity program and risk-based security roadmap
• Oversee budgets, contracts, licensing, vendor management and cost optimization
• Ensure operational stability, service management, incident response, and governance
• Lead IT team development, succession planning, and cross-functional collaboration
• Communicate technology matters to Executive Leadership Team and Board
