Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement (LCI) on the Fab 62 project in Chandler, AZ. You will lead CI initiatives, applying Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen tools to drive productivity and quality on a high-profile construction program.

Responsibilities include developing a risk-based CI strategy, guiding a CI team, analyzing data, and reporting progress to the Project Quality Manager. U.S. citizenship required; strong facilitation and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Recognized Six Sigma Black Belt (certified).
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Startup, Operations.
• Experience supervising direct reports and influencing stakeholders to achieve change.
• Proficient with data analysis tools and reporting; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the PQM in developing and implementing a continuous improvement program and risk-based strategy.
• Manage and supervise a CI team in performing Continuous Improvement activities.
• Analyze data from processes and metrics across projects and functions; develop performance metrics.
• Conduct data analysis and facilitate causal analysis activities (5 Whys, RCAs).
• Lead workshops and training sessions on CI methodologies and tools.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the project.
