FWI (FedWriters, Inc.) in Silver Spring, MD, seeks a Cooperative Institute Financial & Program Analyst to manage a complex NOAA grants portfolio. You will combine financial rigor with program operations to monitor, reconcile, and report on multiple funding sources across university partners nationwide.

The role emphasizes data analysis, development of financial tracking dashboards, and supporting NOFOs and cloud database planning.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical or business discipline; advanced degrees or certifications may qualify for shorter periods of required experience.
• 4+ years of professional and/or academic experience.
• Experience building financial tracking systems and dashboards for federal program reporting.

Responsibilities

• Download and format financial data for 17 Cooperative Institute programs from grants systems; maintain accurate financial records across the CI portfolio.
• Produce financial reports that track funding sources and align to CI research themes and NOAA priorities.
• Coordinate with CI Federal Program Officers for quarterly reconciliations between eRA reports and CI spending projections.
• Develop and maintain Smartsheet and Google Sheets for ROI tracking across the CI portfolio.
• Prepare data compilations for annual CI reports and related performance measures.
