Hermitage Hills is seeking a Communications Director to amplify the church's mission through strategic, consistent communication across staff, ministries, and the congregation. You will manage internal messaging, church communications, and external outreach, ensuring brand voice and audience are prioritized.

The role includes leading marketing strategies, website oversight, and coordinating Sunday service communications and major initiatives to engage members and the surrounding community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Experience managing communication platforms.
• Experience in branding, marketing, and content development.
• Experience leading projects or teams.
• Church or nonprofit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal, church, and external communications aligned with the church mission.
• Own the communication calendar for the department.
• Identify and communicate stories of life change.
• Ensure communications guide people to next steps toward discipleship.
• Track and evaluate communication effectiveness using data and insights.
• Coordinate signage and branding across the building.
• Recruit, develop, and lead staff and volunteers.
• Oversee Sunday service communications and major initiatives.
