Job summary

Department of Children and Family Services in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a dedicated Child Support Enforcement Consultant to coordinate and track DA site visits and IRS audits, maintain compliance documentation, and collaborate with PI Consultants, DA offices, and CSE Operations on IV-D issues.

Qualifications

Six years of experience in child support enforcement.
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of experience in child support enforcement.
A bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience in child support enforcement.
A master's degree plus two years of experience in child support enforcement.
Every 30 semester hours earned towards experience substitution (max 120 semester hours = 4 years).

Responsibilities

Monitors and disburses the CAFE unassigned and former employee queues for all offices, across the state, daily.
Serves as the CSE Agency's Noncriminal Agency coordinator (NAC) for the CSE background checks.
Maintains the Authorized Personnel List on file with the LSP Bureau.
Schedules and conducts annual site visits with attorneys to review monthly reports, inspect offices and audit case files.
Provides support to initiate, implement, and work projects to enhance service delivery and performance in paternity, order establishment, and collection of child support.
Works closely with CSE training specialists to update training material.
