Job summary

Quindar is seeking a Chief Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader for complex satellite ground systems programs, combining program-level leadership with hands-on technical contribution across mission software, platform infrastructure, and operations.

This role acts as a technical integrator and program engineering leader across mission software, reliability, security, and mission integration, partnering with software and systems architects to ensure architectural cohesion and successful

Qualifications

8+ years in aerospace, satellite, or mission-critical software systems.
Breadth across software, operations, and aerospace domains.
Experience with satellite ground systems and mission operations.
Strong communication across software, operations, platform/infrastructure, and customers.
Active U.S. Security Clearance TS/SCI Preferred, or S Required.

Responsibilities

Serve as program technical leader for complex space programs.
Coordinate across mission software, infrastructure, reliability, security, and integration.
Identify and resolve cross-system technical risks and interfaces.
Partner with engineering leads to drive architecture and cohesive system behavior.
Contribute to technical strategy, system design, and architecture development.
Participate in proposal development, technical solution definition, and customer engagements.
Conduct technical reviews, design reviews, and mission readiness assessments.
Support anomaly investigation and operational issue resolution.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers.
