Job summary

Bloomberg seeks an experienced Change Manager (Contractor) for its Financial Management Systems and Solutions team in New York. You will drive change management for SAP and related platforms, partnering with CAO and Engineering to understand impacts and drive adoption.

You will lead stakeholder analyses, develop engagement plans, and deliver tailored communications while integrating change into Agile delivery and training strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of Change Management experience in large-scale transformations.
• Experience developing and executing change strategies and plans.
• Experience conducting change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses.
• Experience developing communications, stakeholder engagement approaches, training strategies, and adoption plans.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into business messaging and influence across levels.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Change Management for large-scale technology and process transformations.
• Develop and execute change management strategies aligned with program milestones.
• Conduct stakeholder analyses to identify audiences, needs, influence, and engagement.
• Lead change impact assessments covering changes to roles, processes, and tools.
• Develop stakeholder engagement plans to build awareness and adoption.
• Create clear communications tailored to audiences and levels of the organization.
• Translate complex changes into actionable business messaging for stakeholders.
• Identify training needs and develop appropriate enablement approaches.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and interviews to gather feedback and build alignment.
• Anticipate resistance and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Establish change readiness, adoption, and effectiveness measures.
• Build relationships with leaders and change champions to support adoption.
• Provide executive-level communications to simplify changes for informed decisions.
• Partner with Agile teams to embed change activities in sprints and releases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of change frameworks and tools.
