Center for Rural Affairs in Lyons, Nebraska, seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy, oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management, and serve as a strategic advisor to the Executive Director and board. This full-time role requires 10+ years in nonprofit financial leadership, with loan underwriting experience and travel across Nebraska.

Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $138,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

Ten or more years of financial leadership experience in nonprofit settings.
Deep knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, budgeting, and grant administration.
Experience in loan underwriting and loan administration or related risk and compliance oversight.

Mansioni

Review financial reports and provide forecasting insights to staff and board.
Develop project budgets and provide financial reporting for grants and contracts.
Analyze loan portfolio to identify risk and mitigation strategies.
Manage investments, cash holdings, and loans to generate revenue for the Center.
Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial management and ensure controls.
