RiverView Health in Crookston, MN, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide executive leadership for the financial strategy, integrity, performance, and long-term sustainability of the organization. The CFO partners with the CEO, Board, and leaders to oversee finance, budgeting, treasury, reimbursement, and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a closely related field.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible healthcare financial leadership experience, including at least five years in a senior finance role.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Advise CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Board, and Finance Committee on financial performance, liquidity, reimbursement, risk, capital needs, and strategic opportunities.
• Prepare and present clear financial reports, forecasts, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Lead strategic planning, annual goals, and performance improvement.
• Promote financial accountability across clinical and administrative leaders.
• Serve as liaison with external auditors, lenders, and regulatory bodies.
• Direct accounting operations, close processes, and financial reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Monitor performance against budget and forecast; implement corrective actions.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, investments, debt, and covenants.
• Maintain internal controls, policies, and audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and other financial reviews.
