Job summary

Valcor Engineering, a respected aerospace manufacturer, seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team in Springfield, NJ. This role partners with the CEO to drive growth, improve profitability, and shape long-term financial strategy across the organization.

The CFO will oversee all finance functions, lead budgeting and forecasting, manage capital investments, and build a high-performing finance team, while ensuring strong internal controls and regulatory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial planning.
• Proven experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience is a plus.
• Strong business acumen with ability to influence cross-department decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and translating financial data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial, accounting, tax, treasury, and reporting functions.
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
• Provide financial guidance to the CEO, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Drive cost reduction, operational efficiency, and profitability initiatives.
• Manage banking relationships, audits, insurance programs, and external advisors.
• Ensure strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Evaluate capital investments, strategic opportunities, and potential acquisitions.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance organization.
